Lebanese President Calls for Lebanese Army to Take Action and Resist Israeli Aggression

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Al Jazeera Qatar, Aoun emphasized that the Committee for Monitoring the Ceasefire Agreement must put more pressure on Israel so that the regime adheres to its commitments to stop violating Lebanon's sovereignty.

 

In this regard, Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam also strongly criticized the recent Israeli attacks on the Blida region and the direct targeting of a municipal employee while performing his duty, calling it a clear violation of Lebanese government institutions and the country's national sovereignty.

 

He added that the Lebanese government is pursuing this issue through the United Nations and the countries supporting the ceasefire agreement to ensure the cessation of Israel's violating actions and its complete withdrawal from Lebanese lands.

 

The Lebanese army also considered the Zionist enemy's action in Blida Yara a criminal act and a clear violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and the ceasefire agreement.

 

The Lebanese army called Israel's false reasons and excuses null and void, adding that Tel Aviv's action is being taken to justify its violating actions against the country and Lebanese citizens.

 

The army emphasized: We asked the Ceasefire Monitoring Committee to stop Israel's hostile actions and repeated aggressions.

 

This morning, a group of Israeli army forces entered the temporary municipality building of Blida after crossing the Lebanese-Palestinian border.

 

The Lebanese army went on alert and called in more forces and equipment to the area.

 

The Israeli military's aggression on the town of Blida was carried out with the accompaniment and aerial support of the regime's drones.
