Online Database System Inaugurated at Ibn Sina Emergency Hospital
The Ministry of Public Health has launched an online database system at Ibn Sina Emergency Hospital; the system is designed to accurately record health information, facilitate the educational process, and improve the quality of medical services.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Public Health announced that Sheikh Mohammad Taher Halim, Director General of the Ministry of Public Health Office, Dr. Nisar Ahmad Niazi, Director General of Specialty Supply, a number of central heads of the ministry, officials of specialized and tertiary hospitals, specialists, and health workers were present at the inauguration ceremony of this system.
 
Dr. Nisar Ahmad Niazi called this system a great achievement in the health sector and said that the online database can ensure accurate recording of health information, creating an online educational platform for trainer doctors, improving the quality and transparency of specialized training, facilitating the monitoring process, implementing educational programs in accordance with international standards, easy access to scientific information, and improving the quality of health services.
 
Sheikh Mohammad Taher Halim also emphasized the importance of this system in accurately recording health information and better time management, and considered it an effective step in improving health services.
 
Subsequently, Dr. Gulab Gul Zadran, Director of Ibn Sina Emergency Hospital, Dr. Mohammad Azim Samim, Head of the Training Department, and Engineer Farhad Wafa, Head of the Database of the General Directorate of Expertise Supply, fully explained the goals and benefits of this system to the attendees.
 
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Public Health has recently turned to creating digital systems in various departments, and these measures have been able to create significant conveniences in providing services and managing health information.
 
This system enables accurate recording and management of patient files, and by creating an online educational platform, doctors and specialists have easier access to international scientific and educational resources.
 
According to the Ministry of Public Health, this measure is part of the health services digitalization program that has been operational in several large hospitals in the country in recent years.

According to experts, the opening of the online database system at Avicenna Emergency Hospital indicates a move towards digitalization of health services and improvement of the quality of medical care.
