Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Calls for Military Attack on Venezuela

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Machado, who has warm relations with Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump, said that the only way to remove Nicolas Maduro from the presidency of Venezuela is through military action.

 

She told the American Bloomberg network: "The increased pressure and escalation that has been taking place is the only way to force Maduro to understand that the time has come to go (to step down from power)."

 

This statement was made while US military attacks near the coast of Venezuela have intensified and the media has reported the possibility of an attack on Venezuelan territory.

 

The Miami Herald newspaper reported last night, citing informed sources, that the United States may carry out airstrikes on targets in Venezuela in the coming hours or days.

 

This news, of course, was immediately met with a reaction from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who wrote on X (former Twitter): "Your sources who claim to be aware of the situation have deceived you into writing a fake news story."

 

Despite Rubio's denial, US military actions against Venezuela under the pretext of combating drug trafficking continue and have intensified.

 

Machado's request for a military attack on Venezuela is a continuation of his actions to accompany the United States in resorting to a military option.

 

After receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, he spoke with Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu by phone and even suggested to the US President that he was ready to present the award to Trump.

 

In a recent interview with Donald Trump Jr., the son of the US president, Machado indirectly sent a message to Washington that he could gain access to Venezuela's vast natural resources if it helped oust Maduro.

 

In an interview with Bloomberg, the Nobel Peace Prize winner sent a message to the US that he was ready to succeed Maduro and rule the country.

 

Stating that he had a plan for the first 100 hours after the "final fall of the Maduro regime", Machado added: "I'm talking about hundreds of thousands of people. People will come out when the right moment comes and this (structure to rule Venezuela) is being built right now as we speak."
