Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has ordered sanctions against 24 individuals and 31 companies from Russia, China and Iran, repeating previously denied allegations that some countries are cooperating with Moscow.
Zelensky said he had signed the sanctions against those involved in Russia’s production of military equipment or Kremlin propaganda.
He called the sanctions “far-reaching” and aimed at undermining Russia’s ability to wage war.
The sanctions include Iranian state entities and legal entities that sell military products to Russia, the statement said.
Ukraine has accused Iran in recent months of selling military products to Russia for use in the war in Ukraine.
