Yemen warns Saudi Arabia: Delaying peace means returning to the battlefield
Chairman of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, Mahdi Al-Mashat, criticized Riyadh's disregard for its commitments and called on Saudi Arabia to take the peace process seriously and end the aggression, siege and occupation. He warned that Sanaa will not remain silent in the face of US and Israeli pressure and will not hesitate to resume military action if Riyadh continues to evade.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: According to "Farooq Ali", a correspondent for Tasnim News Agency in Sanaa, at the same time as the start of Operation Storm Al-Aqsa and the battle between Palestinian resistance fighters and the Zionist regime, Yemen and Saudi Arabia were engaged in negotiations that lasted several months, during which understandings were reached to stop the war against Yemen and resolve military, humanitarian and political differences.

However, the implementation of this agreement was postponed after Sanaa entered the battle to support the Palestinian resistance and defend the oppressed people of Gaza. However, after the Zionist genocidal war in Gaza stopped, from the Yemeni perspective, the implementation of the peace obligations fell on the Saudi side.

Referring to the continuation of Riyadh’s negligent policies in fulfilling its commitments, “Mahdi Al-Mashat,” the head of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, stated: We call on the Saudi regime to move from the stage of reducing tension to ending aggression, siege, and occupation and implementing the clear obligations of peace with Yemen.

The head of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council continued: “This is the closest solution to preventing the greed of those who invest in the option of war within the Islamic nation in order to serve Israel. If you understand, America is exploiting all the sensitivities of the region for the benefit of Israel.”

Sanaa does not hide its concern that Saudi Arabia is evading its commitments under pressure from the US and Israel, and warns that if necessary, it will not hesitate to return to the policy of escalating military tension, regardless of the consequences that could bring devastation to both sides.

In this regard, "Dhaifullah Al-Shami", a member of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, said: I believe that Saudi Arabia and the UAE should know that today it is the Yemeni people who have taken up the cause of supporting Gaza, supporting Palestine, and standing firm in this great battle at the cost of special interests and interests.

He continued, adding in a warning tone: Perhaps after the end of the Gaza war, confronting the continued aggression against Yemen and the demands of the Yemeni people and trying to regain their rights, whether through peace, dialogue, understanding, or by force, will once again be at the top of the priorities of Yemeni officials and leaders.

The Yemeni people preferred supporting the Palestinian resistance to the requirements of peace with the countries at war with Yemen, and it is at the top of the priorities and interests of the Islamic Ummah. However, from the Yemeni perspective, this does not necessarily mean waiving the rights of the Yemenis, whether through peace or war.

Hamid Asim, a member of the Yemeni National Council, acknowledges: There is no doubt that there are very important requirements that the Saudi regime must implement; first, the agreement that was reached a year and a half ago in Sanaa during the month of Ramadan, when the Saudis finally suffered defeat in the military attack and siege of Yemen for nearly ten years, an agreement in which a complete reduction in tension was agreed upon. But they refused to implement it based on American instructions and after the attacks of the Al-Aqsa Storm War.

The member of the Yemeni National Council added: I say today, Saudi Arabia must be well aware that the option of peace is still available, otherwise, we have many options before us, such as returning to war. The Saudis know that we are capable of hurting them more than we have hurt them so far.

After the Zionist aggression against Gaza stopped, Sanaa has today resumed its demands on Saudi Arabia and its allies to implement the peace obligations that were postponed due to the Al-Aqsa Storm and the Yemeni support battle (for Gaza), and is preparing for what it had previously abandoned under American pressure.
