The Telegraph newspaper added: The hot sands around the city of Fasher have turned the color of blood; Where more than 2,000 civilians have been massacred. Large pools of blood have been created and bodies have been piled up so high that they can be clearly seen in aerial images.

 

According to the report, eyewitnesses stated that the rapid reaction forces have committed heinous crimes against innocent soldiers, and most of the victims are women, children and the elderly. Regional and international countries and UN agencies have accused the rapid reaction forces in Sudan of committing horrific massacres, amounting to genocide, in the city of Fasher.

 

The British media continued its report by emphasizing that according to reports from the city of Fasher, the rapid reaction forces have launched a campaign of assassinations in the city and have committed unspeakable crimes, including the massacre of more than 2,000 unarmed civilians. Shocking reports of various crimes committed by these forces have also been published.

 

The Telegraph newspaper stated: A video shows how a militia affiliated with the Rapid Reaction Forces kills a child and a man in cold blood. Another video also shows the militia executing civilians moments after they pretended to free them.

 

Rapid Reaction Forces Committing the Crime of Ethnic Cleansing

The British media added: The total death toll could not be immediately confirmed, but satellite images taken after the city fell over the weekend after an 18-month siege show evidence of mass killings. A study by the Beale School of Public Health Laboratory, using satellite images, observed objects that looked like human bodies and had a reddish color on them, which appears to be blood.

 

The report continued: According to the investigation, human-sized bodies were piled up around vehicles and along a sandbank created by the rapid reaction forces around the city. There were also reports of civilians being shot as they tried to escape.

 

The investigation also found evidence of house-to-house clearing by the rapid reaction forces in the city of Fasher, suggesting that Fasher had become the site of a systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing against Sudanese ethnic groups.

He added: "The rapid reaction forces have aerial weapons, so civilians cannot hide and are being targeted from all sides. The world must immediately put strong pressure on the rapid reaction forces and their supporters to stop the killing of civilians. What is happening to these Sudanese civilians is a war crime and a crime against humanity.

 

International reports also indicate that thousands of innocent civilians have been executed. The rapid reaction forces, supported by the UAE, have besieged the town of Fasher for the past 18 months and built a dirt barrier around it to prevent its residents from leaving.

 

Fasher was the last remaining stronghold of the Sudanese army in Darfur and with its fall, all five Darfur states came under the control of the militants.

The Guardian reported that since the fall of Fasher, there have been horrific reports that ethnically motivated militias have executed more than 2,000 Sudanese in mass executions. Videos released by the militias themselves show dozens of bodies lying on the ground next to burning cars.

 

The Beale Humanities Research Lab, which has been focusing on developments in Sudan in recent days, revealed that there is evidence consistent with mass killings by the Rapid Reaction Militia, and that the city is witnessing a systematic and deliberate ethnic cleansing of non-Arab indigenous communities through forced displacement and extrajudicial executions.
