Israeli army confiscates thousands of acres of land in occupied Jerusalem

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: In continuation of its expansionist and occupation policies, the Zionist regime’s army has issued a military order to confiscate 5,856 dunams of land in the town of Anata in northeast occupied Jerusalem.

 

The governor of occupied Jerusalem, announcing this news, emphasized that these lands have been designated for the military purposes of the occupying regime; an action that is being taken in order to consolidate the occupation and expand the regime’s security and military influence in the Palestinian areas.

 

According to the Al-Mayadeen network website, this action is being taken while the Zionist regime continues its settlement policies and annexation of Palestinian lands while intensifying its aggression in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip; Policies that aim to change the demographic and geopolitical context of Jerusalem and its surroundings.

 

This confiscation is considered a continuation of the Zionist regime's series of actions to impose field realities and weaken the presence of Palestinians in East Jerusalem; while the Palestinian resistance has repeatedly emphasized that such aggressive actions will not go unanswered.

 

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry in the PA had previously announced that the Zionist regime has no sovereignty over the occupied lands in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza, and the international community should not remain silent in the face of these blatant violations.
