He added that elections will be held after the end of the war.
Regarding the Gaza Administration Committee, Abbas emphasized the organization's position that this body is subordinate to the central government in Ramallah in order to maintain the unity of the Palestinian state structure; a position that has faced opposition from the US and the Zionist regime.
Abbas also said about his relations with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi that this relationship began during Sisi's time as Minister of Defense, adding: "Sisi has never disappointed our trust and that of the Egyptian people; we always feel that he is with us wholeheartedly." He concluded by noting that the Palestinian displacement plan failed thanks to the firm positions of Egypt and Jordan.
