Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Saif Magango, spokesman for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, announced that since last Sunday, when the Rapid Reaction Forces took control of the capital of North Darfur state, these forces have committed widespread crimes against civilians. According to him, hundreds of civilians have been killed or are no longer able to defend themselves.

According to UN estimates, more than 36,000 civilians have fled Fasher since last Sunday, with many of them taking refuge in the town of Tawilah.
