America once again launched a deadly attack in the Caribbean
The US Secretary of War announced that the country once again targeted a vessel in the Caribbean with an airstrike; Washington claims that the vessel was carrying drug smugglers and that three people were killed in the attack.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Pete Hexath announced in a message on the social network X on Sunday, "Today, at the order of President Trump, the Department of War carried out a deadly attack against a drug smuggling vessel belonging to a terrorist organization in the Caribbean."

He claimed that the vessel, according to information from US intelligence agencies, was involved in the transportation of illegal drug shipments.

According to him, three men on the boat were killed during the attack, while none of the US forces were injured.

According to reports, the US has carried out more than a dozen similar attacks in the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean since September.

At least 64 people have been killed in these attacks, which Washington has described as “narco-traffickers and terrorists.”

However, these attacks have faced a wave of international criticism. Human rights organizations and international law experts say that targeting suspicious boats in high waters is a clear violation of international law and an example of “extrajudicial execution.”

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk has also called the attacks “unacceptable” and called for an independent investigation into what his office called “extrajudicial killings.”

While Washington claims to be fighting drug trafficking, critics say that the Trump administration is using the term “narco-terrorist organizations” to justify cross-border military operations and expanding its military presence in sensitive maritime areas.
