Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – International Service: Petro emphasized that the Israeli regime is persecuting and pressuring all segments of society, including Christians and Arabs, and that the international community should not remain silent in the face of this oppression.
He also announced that in order to honor the steadfastness and resistance of the people of Gaza, he intends to award his country’s highest honor, the Great Fighter Medal “Simon Bolivar,” as a sign of solidarity with the people of this region.
In recent months, the Colombian President has repeatedly reacted sharply to the Israeli regime’s continued attacks on civilians in the Gaza Strip, calling for an immediate end to the war and humanitarian aid to the Palestinians. This issue has led to his being sanctioned by the United States.
