Iraqi MP: US and Tel Aviv-backed countries seek to weaken the Popular Mobilization Forces
Mukhtar al-Musawi, an Iraqi MP, announced that the US and some countries supporting the Zionist regime have planned to reduce the role of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq and called on the Baghdad government to support these forces.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Mukhtar al-Musawi, an Iraqi MP, emphasized that the US and a number of countries that have normalized their relations with the Zionist regime intend to reduce the role of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq.

Al-Musawi added that some of these countries are dissatisfied with the extensive achievements of the Popular Mobilization Forces against ISIS and that foreign pressures are being applied with the aim of redefining Iraq's security landscape and realizing their own interests.

He emphasized that the Baghdad government must support the legal status of the Popular Mobilization Forces and not allow foreign pressures to affect Iraq's security policies and internal decision-making.
