Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Israeli army carried out extensive attacks in the Gaza Strip this morning (Monday, November 12), which included airstrikes, artillery shelling and explosions of Palestinian homes in Gaza City and eastern Khan Yunis.
Al Jazeera correspondent reported that warplanes and artillery of the Israeli army targeted the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City and the southern areas of Khan Yunis, and Israeli drones also opened fire on the Al-Tuffah neighborhood. The Palestinian Information Center added that Israeli armored vehicles also shelled residential areas and fighter jets carried out airstrikes on parts of eastern Gaza.
Palestinian sources said that since the ceasefire came into effect, the Israeli army has repeatedly violated its commitments; last week alone, widespread attacks killed around 100 Palestinians, including 35 children. The government information office in Gaza also said that the Israeli army had committed 194 violations of the ceasefire agreement so far.
Despite the partial withdrawal of the Israeli army to what is known as the “yellow line,” the forces still control about half of the Gaza Strip, and violence continues.
