7 Islamic and Arab countries meet in Istanbul to discuss Gaza situation
Foreign ministers and representatives of seven Islamic and Arab countries gathered in Istanbul, Turkey, to discuss recent developments in the Gaza Strip and its humanitarian situation. The meeting was hosted by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The meeting was attended by the foreign ministers of Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and representatives from the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. Before the official start of the meeting, the Turkish Foreign Minister met with his counterparts from the aforementioned countries and took a commemorative photo.

According to Turkish Foreign Ministry sources, the main focus of the meeting was to review the ceasefire situation in Gaza, send humanitarian aid, and the future of the administration of the region.

In his speech, Hakan Fidan accused the Israeli regime of making excuses to end the ceasefire and called for the international community to take a firm stance against the regime's provocative actions.

He also considered the uninterrupted and sufficient delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza a legal and humanitarian necessity and stressed the need to apply international pressure on Israel to facilitate this process.

The Turkish Foreign Minister concluded by calling for arrangements to be implemented whereby the Palestinians could take over responsibility for security and administration of Gaza as soon as possible.
