The head of the Breshna Company discussed with the deputy cabinet minister of Turkmenistan about Afghanistan
Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, the general director of the Breshna Company, on the sidelines of the International Conference and Exhibition on Energy, Construction Affairs, Industry and Development of Chemicals of Turkmenistan-2025, discussed with Batur Amanov, the deputy cabinet minister of Turkmenistan, about the development projects of the Afghan energy sector, including the 500 kV line, the tap project and the electrification of the Bala Murghab district.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Breshna Company announced today (Tuesday, November 4) that Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, the general director of the company, met and discussed with Batur Amanov, the deputy cabinet minister of Turkmenistan, on the sidelines of the International Conference and Exhibition on Energy, Construction Affairs, Industry and Development of Chemicals of Turkmenistan-2025.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on development projects in Afghanistan’s energy sector, including the 500 kV transmission line project, the TAPI project, and electrification of Bala Murghab district, and emphasized the importance of regional and development cooperation in this area.

The conference was hosted by Turkmenistan and its stated goal is to strengthen regional and international cooperation in the energy sector, construction, industry, and chemical development.
