November 4 Across Iran; Qalibaf: Iranian Nation Will Never Accept Domination

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, said at the November 4 march in Tehran on Tuesday: The Iranian nation has never been subjugated and will not trade its independence for anything.

 

Referring to three important historical events on November 4 in Iran, namely the exile of Imam Khomeini (RA), the martyrdom of students, and the capture of the American, Qalibaf considered this day a symbol of the fight against arrogance and the defense of the country's independence.

 

He emphasized that independence is the main pillar of Iran's national interests, and a country that does not have independence will not have dignity, credibility, and sustainable progress.

 

Criticizing America's hegemonic behavior, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament said: America's hostility towards the Iranian nation began when the people decided to take their destiny into their own hands and not be dependent on the East and the West.

 

Qalibaf also referred to the assassination of Iranian scientists and Western media pressure, and said: Today, enemies are trying to spread despair and self-deprecation in our society with new tools such as the media and cyberspace.

 

He concluded by saying: "The slogan 'Death to America' arose from the hearts of the people and the historical memory of the Iranian nation and means resistance to bullying and hegemony, not enmity with nations." Qalibaf emphasized that the path of the Iranian nation is the path of rationality, authority, and justice, and it will continue this path with strength.
