US tests intercontinental ballistic missile
The US Space Force announced that it has launched an unarmed Minuteman 3 intercontinental ballistic missile from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to the US Space Force, the missile, which is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead, was used in this test without warheads and flew about 4,200 miles (equivalent to 6,750 kilometers) to reach its designated target on the Kwajalein Atoll in the Pacific Ocean.

US military officials have stated that the purpose of this test is to check the accuracy, reliability and readiness of defense systems.

It has been said that this test is part of the US military's regular programs to evaluate its missile capabilities and, according to officials, has no connection to current political or military developments.

This is while Cheney has previously conducted nuclear tests with Russia, which are said to be rare.
