China launches its third aircraft carrier

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to reports, the Fujian aircraft carrier is the first Chinese ship to be equipped with electromagnetic catapult technology. This advanced technology allows for faster and more effective launching of aircraft from the ship’s deck and significantly increases the operational capacity of China’s naval forces.

 

The commissioning ceremony of the ship was held with the official presence of Xi Jinping, and its operational start was also announced at the same ceremony. This move comes at a time when China has invested heavily in the development of its navy in recent years and is seeking to consolidate its position as a global maritime power.

 

The Fujian aircraft carrier is the third of its kind in the Chinese navy, after the Liaoning and Shandong, but it is the most advanced in terms of technology and design. It is designed and built entirely in China and is a symbol of the country’s industrial and military advancements in the maritime domain.
