Voter turnout in Iraq
The Iraqi Independent High Election Commission announced that voter turnout in the country's parliamentary elections has exceeded 55 percent.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Iraqi Election Commission stated that after receiving the results of 99.7 percent of the polling stations in the 2025 parliamentary elections, it is announced that the number of voters in the general election has reached 10 million, 898,327 out of a total of 20 million, 63,773 eligible voters, so the participation rate was more than 54 percent.

Also, the participation rate in the special elections (voting from members of the security and military apparatus and refugees, which was held two days ago) is as follows:
Out of a total of 1 million, 313,989 voters, 1 million, 84,289 members of the security and military apparatus participated in the elections, which represents a participation rate of 82.5 percent.

Also, 20,527 people from 26,538 eligible offices went to the polls, indicating a participation rate of 77%.

Therefore, in total, including general and special voting, 12 million 3,143 people out of a total of 21 million 404,291 voters participated in the elections, indicating a participation rate of more than 55%.

National voting for the Iraqi parliamentary elections began at 7:00 am (Tuesday) Baghdad time and continued until 6:00 pm.

According to the country's High Election Commission, more than 21 million people are eligible to vote, and their participation in the elections will determine the fate of 329 parliamentary seats.

The first phase of the Iraqi parliamentary elections, entitled special voting, was held on Sunday, November 8, in the presence of security forces, the military, and displaced people living in camps.
