The deputy minister of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that the work visa for foreigners will be officially unveiled by December this year; a move that, according to him, is an unprecedented development in the field of employment and transparency of the Iranian labor market.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: According to Iranian media reports, Seyed Malek Hosseini, deputy for entrepreneurship and employment development at the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare of Iran, said at a meeting of the strategic council of the ministry: The issuance of work visas has been implemented and its official unveiling will be carried out by December. He added that this visa will make the entry of foreign labor transparent and disciplined and their legal rights will be guaranteed within the framework of the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Also, their financial and employment transactions will be accompanied by complete transparency.
 
According to Noornews, Hosseini further referred to the “Small to Large Enterprises Connection” project in the country and said: This new business development model can reduce startup and development costs by 80 percent and significantly increase the growth rate of employment and production. He explained that by using the capacity of small workshops and improving production and packaging standards, production growth will be possible with only 20 percent of conventional costs.
 
In conclusion, Hosseini addressed Iranian entrepreneurs and industrial activists and said: I invite everyone to follow the path of sustainable development by taking advantage of new connection strategies and taking advantage of new opportunities in the labor market and play an effective role in boosting employment and reducing the country’s production costs.
 
It is worth noting that recently, officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that they would issue about 200,000 work visas to Afghan citizens.
