Ministry of Higher Education calls for strengthening academic relations with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation
In a meeting with the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the organization’s special representative for Afghanistan, the Minister of Higher Education called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to cooperate in attracting expert professors for postgraduate programs in Afghanistan, equipping laboratories, and strengthening academic relations between Afghanistan and the organization’s member countries.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Higher Education issued a press release saying that Sheikh Nida Mohammad Nadeem, Minister of the Ministry, met with Tariq Ali Bakhit, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the organization’s special representative for Afghanistan.

Sheikh Nida Mohammad Nadeem, in this meeting, called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to cooperate in attracting expert professors for postgraduate programs in Afghanistan, equipping laboratories, and strengthening academic relations between Afghanistan and the organization’s member countries.

He added that after the Islamic Emirate came to power in the country, the number of doctoral programs in Afghan universities has increased to about 30 programs and master’s programs to 100 programs.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation assured cooperation with the Afghan education system.
