Grossi expresses deep concern over the agency
Raphael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, has expressed deep concern in his new report about the agency's inability to verify the amount of highly enriched uranium in Iran.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Al-Mayadeen Network reported this morning (Thursday, November 13) that it had obtained a copy of the report by Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, on Iran's compliance with its nuclear commitments.

According to Al-Mayadeen, Grossi wrote in the report about Tehran's compliance with the Non-Proliferation Treaty and the Cairo Agreement on Iran's nuclear program.

Accordingly, he claimed: "The inability of the Atomic Energy Agency to verify the amount of highly enriched uranium in Iran is a source of deep concern."

Al-Mayadeen explained that Grossi’s report stated: “Iran informed us that any cooperation with the IAEA is subject to the decision of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

He also wrote: “The IAEA has lost its ability to maintain continuous information about Iran’s declared nuclear material stockpiles.”
