Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of Kabul Municipality has issued a press release saying that the asphalting work of the first layer of the connecting road from Qala Zaman Khan to the Kabul-Jalalabad road in the 16th district of Kabul city has been completed and that the asphalting of the second layer of this road is scheduled to begin soon.
According to the press release, this road is designed to be 1,645 meters long and 30 meters wide, and includes the construction of a 201-meter-long water intake canal with a depth and width of 1.5 meters, the construction of three culverts with lengths of 17, 31, and 45 meters, the creation of embankments, flowerbeds, sidewalks, lighting, marking, and the construction of a motor bridge over the Kabul River.
It is worth noting that with the completion of this project, the transportation problems of the residents of the area will be significantly reduced and ease of travel will be provided; the ground will also be prepared for the economic growth of the surrounding areas more than before.
