Afghan, Indonesian officials discuss export of fruits through air corridor to Jakarta
The Afghan ambassador to Jakarta met with the head of the Mosque Council, the head of the Red Crescent Society and the former vice president of Indonesia to discuss the expansion of bilateral relations and Afghanistan's exports, especially fruits, through air flights to Indonesia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Maulvi Saadullah Baloch, the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate in Jakarta, met with Mohammad Yousuf Kala, head of the Mosques Council, head of the Red Crescent Society and former vice president of Indonesia, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Thursday.
 
During the meeting, the two sides emphasized the need to strengthen and expand bilateral relations in the political and economic fields.
 
Mr. Baloch thanked Indonesia for sending aid, including medical teams, to earthquake victims in the east of the country.
 
The two sides also discussed Afghanistan's exports, especially fruits, to Indonesia via air.
 
In conclusion, Mr. Kala recalled the goodwill of the Islamic Emirate officials and the good memories of his trip to Afghanistan.
