UNRWA warns of worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza after heavy rains
UNRWA announced that heavy rain in the Gaza Strip has severely worsened living conditions, forcing thousands of families to seek shelter in any temporary shelter, including tents, to avoid flooding.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Al Jazeera, the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that heavy rain in the Gaza Strip has made humanitarian conditions even more difficult, with many families taking refuge in any possible space, including temporary tents.

UNRWA stressed that there is an urgent and critical need for shelter items and equipment in Gaza, and that this equipment is at the organization's disposal, but it needs access permits to deliver them to the people.

The organization has called for the delivery of this aid to residents.

At the same time, Adnan Abu Hasna, UNRWA's media advisor, stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that the organization is contacting relevant parties to increase pressure on Israel to allow humanitarian aid to enter and be delivered to Gaza.
