Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Maulvi Shams-ur-Rahman Stanikzai, Director of Borders, Ethnic and Tribal Affairs of Samangan, said that this meeting was held to coordinate and strengthen the unity of the residents, especially in the districts of Khorram and Sarbagh.
He added that the officials of the Islamic Emirate throughout the country are obliged to carefully examine the problems and demands of the people and take action to resolve them. According to him, the problems and demands of the residents of these districts will be brought to the attention of the Leader of the Islamic Emirate.
Maulvi Stanikzai emphasized that in the Islamic Emirate system, no tribe is superior to another and the problems of all tribes are addressed equally. He added that fanatics or nationalists have no relation to the Islamic Emirate. He also referred to the decrees of the Leader of the Islamic Emirate and said: “Eliminating undesirable customs and traditions and avoiding discrimination will lead to reform of the society and solving the problems of the people, and everyone should pay serious attention to this matter.”
A number of officials from government departments in Samangan province also noted in the meeting that people should avoid undesirable customs and traditions, especially the excessive expenses of weddings, because these customs cause social and economic problems and increase poverty and migration of youth.
Representatives of residents of Khorram and Sarbagh districts also raised problems such as the lack of internet, standard roads, lack of clean drinking water, and the need for reconstruction of schools. They called on the authorities to pay attention to the process of constructing the main water dam so that the problems related to drinking and agricultural water for the people can be solved.
According to reports, Samangan province has a diverse ethnic population, and coordination between ethnic groups and addressing local problems are among the most important challenges for social management in the province. Infrastructure projects such as the construction of a dam and the development of the internet and roads can play an important role in reducing poverty and migration.
Observers believe that holding meetings such as the "Islamic Brotherhood" can provide the basis for strengthening ethnic unity and reducing local tensions. Studies show that practical attention to the economic and social problems of the people, especially in the areas of water and education, increases the community's trust in local institutions and prevents illegal migration. According to experts, reforming undesirable customs and reducing unnecessary spending are also effective in strengthening social stability.
