New York Mayor-elect: If Netanyahu enters the city, I will pursue his arrest

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_International Service: New York Mayor-elect Zahran Mamdani emphasized in an interview with ABC News that he will issue an arrest warrant for Netanyahu within the framework of international law and will use all legal means to execute international arrest warrants.

 

He added: "New York City always implements international law. The arrest warrants issued by the Hague Court are also among these laws, and their execution makes no difference whether it is against Netanyahu or Putin. Unlike some other leaders, I do not violate the law and I abide by my legal framework."

 

Mamdani stated, “If Netanyahu comes to New York and I don’t do my best to enforce the law against him, I will never consider myself the true mayor of this city.”

 

It should be noted that the mayor-elect had previously warned that Netanyahu could be arrested if he traveled to New York.
