Zelensky in Paris; Ukraine caught in domestic and defense crisis

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_International Service: Zelensky has been embroiled in a major corruption scandal in the energy sector in recent days, leading to the resignation of two of his ministers. At the same time, on the defense front, he is also seeking to receive more air defense systems from European partners, an issue that exposes the weakness and inefficiency of his country's air defense.

 

His meeting with Macron in Paris was held with the aim of reaching an agreement to strengthen Ukraine's air defense, but experts believe that domestic pressures and management problems in Ukraine will affect even the success of receiving defense equipment. Zelensky is scheduled to travel to Madrid after the meeting to seek further support from Spain, but even these measures cannot hide Ukraine’s deep domestic problems and weak defense capabilities.

 

Experts say Ukraine lacks experience and effective planning not only in confronting Russian aggression but also in managing its own internal crises, an issue that is likely to affect the process of international negotiations and cooperation.
