32 teams qualify for 2026 World Cup
With the confirmation of two more teams qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, the number of teams participating in the world's most important football competition has reached 32, with only 16 spots remaining. These promotions mark the end of the crucial qualifying competitions in some continents and the nearing completion of the formation of the teams participating in the first 48-team World Cup.
