Deputy Minister of Finance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with his Iranian counterpart: strengthening bilateral relations were discussed
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry met and discussed with his Iranian counterpart about strengthening bilateral relations, improving consular services for Afghans living in Iran and other issues.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press release saying that Dr. Mohammad Naeem Wardak, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry, met and discussed with Mehdi Sobhani, Deputy Minister of Finance and Administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In this meeting, the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations, improving consular services for Afghans living in Iran and other issues.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that in this meeting, Mr. Naeem emphasized the positive approach of the Islamic Emirate towards its neighbors and said that Afghanistan prioritizes dialogue and understanding to resolve any problems.

On the other hand, Mehdi Sobhani stated that Tehran respects the national sovereignty of Afghanistan and emphasized that his country supports the expansion of bilateral cooperation and peace and stability in the region.

It is worth noting that Iran has close and comprehensive relations with the Islamic Emirate in various fields.
