Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Al-Akhbar newspaper, Hassan Fadlallah, senior representative of the Loyalty to the Resistance faction in the Lebanese parliament, criticized the passivity and silence of the country's government in the face of the Zionist regime's aggression and announced that the government has made many concessions at the political level, while the Zionists have not taken any reciprocal measures to make concessions.
Hassan Fadlallah said during a memorial ceremony: "We are currently going through a difficult and difficult stage, but this does not mean that we will surrender to the enemy and hand our country over to the occupiers as easy prey."
Regarding various international movements, especially the US pressure to drag Lebanon into direct negotiations with the Zionist enemy, he stated: "No proposal has yet been presented to Lebanon at the political level that can effectively stop the aggression of the Zionist enemy."
The Hezbollah representative added: "The only agreement that exists is related to the ceasefire agreement of November last year, and in a situation where the Zionists are constantly violating this agreement and violating Lebanon, there is no room for discussing another agreement."
Hassan Fadlallah emphasized: "There is a legitimate and important question among our people about how to confront the aggression of the Zionist enemy and how Hezbollah will react. The main concern of today's resistance is how to work to confront these challenges. We will never deny the new reality of the region and that the conditions have changed, and we know that we have entered a new stage that requires adopting a different approach and strategy and formulating different equations."
The representative of the resistance stated: After the ceasefire agreement, the government with all its institutions became responsible for protecting the sovereignty of the country, but today people are asking which government exactly are we talking about and where does the Lebanese government stand amidst the developments that are taking place and the enemy’s aggressions?
Hassan Fadlallah continued: If the Lebanese government really wants to fulfill its responsibilities, it has many options before it and it must use all its diplomatic, political and media efforts. Anyone in Lebanon who thinks that the enemy’s aggressions will only include southern Lebanon and that the pain and suffering will be limited to this region is completely mistaken.
The aforementioned Hezbollah representative said: Some believe that the Zionist regime has returned to 1982 and can easily invade and occupy Lebanon. But we tell these parties that this era will never return, we have passed that stage and the mercenaries cannot dominate our country and although they have a loud voice, they are politically in the minority.
He continued by emphasizing that the resistance will never allow Lebanon to surrender to the occupiers, stating: If the enemies of the resistance think that they represent the majority of the Lebanese people, they should wait for the upcoming elections and their results.
