Moscow: US recruits troops in the Philippines for the Ukrainian war
A Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced that the United States has launched a recruitment campaign in the Philippines to send troops to the fronts of the Ukrainian war.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-International Service: Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, said that US representatives have begun their activities with the aim of recruiting Filipino citizens to fight alongside the Ukrainian army. According to her, the plan prioritizes former employees of the Philippine security agencies and retired military personnel, and applicants have been promised a monthly salary of $5,000.

According to the Sputnik news agency, this recruitment process is carried out by an American security agency based in Florida. Before being sent to the conflict zone, the recruited individuals will be trained by American instructors and will be issued a German Schengen visa.

Zakharova added that this visa is issued at the consular section of the German Embassy in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. He considered this action a sign of America's attempt to expand the scope of the war in Ukraine by attracting foreign forces.
