Moscow warns Washington: We will confront the US missile threat

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Al Jazeera, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov warned that if US medium-range missile systems pose a threat to Russia in any region, the country will take retaliatory military and technical measures.

 

The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, noting that Russia and the US are in contact on a case-by-case basis regarding the exchange of prisoners, emphasized that Russia supports the normal and peaceful process of negotiations with the US on Ukraine and does not want to participate in any dirty and worthless games.

 

Ryabkov noted that the visit of US Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff to Russia remains in force and Moscow will work on whatever the US special representative presents during his visit to Moscow.

 

The senior Russian official also said that some European countries are making strong efforts to disrupt progress on the Ukraine issue and prevent Russia and the United States from reaching agreements on the issue.
