Israeli forces raided the village yesterday morning, claiming to want to arrest several suspects. However, after Israeli soldiers entered the area, local residents resisted and fighting began.
To save their forces, the Israeli army bombed the area with artillery, helicopters and drones. The result of the attack was deadly, killing at least 13 people, including several women and children, and injuring dozens more.
After the attack, many families fled Beit Jan, a move that sparked public anger in Syria.
