US Ambassador
The new US ambassador, openly siding with the Zionist regime, announced that the regime does not need permission from Washington to carry out its defensive actions.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): "Michelle Issa", the new US ambassador to Lebanon, stated in biased remarks that the Zionist regime does not need permission from Washington to defend itself.

The US ambassador, who arrived in Lebanon in mid-November, instead of interviewing Lebanese media, said in an interview with the Hebrew newspaper "Haaretz" that the Zionist regime has assessed its own security needs and requirements and is taking all necessary steps it deems appropriate to protect its citizens and does not need permission from the US to defend itself.

Taking advantage of the hasty and mistaken decision of the Nawaf Salam government regarding the weapons of resistance, while the Zionist aggression and occupation continue, he said that the US government is in full contact with the Lebanese government and is pressuring it to implement the historic decision to disarm Hezbollah.

Without referring to the US green light and its full political and military support for the Zionist regime to violate the ceasefire agreement and occupy Lebanese territory, Michel Issa claimed that Washington is committed to implementing the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon because this is important for returning power to the government and ensuring its future.

The US ambassador, who was appointed to this position as if to complete the failed mission of "Thomas Barak", the Trump administration's envoy to disarm the resistance, said that disarming Hezbollah and other groups is a fundamental step to ensuring peace.

Michel Issa is an American businessman and financial expert of Lebanese descent.

Since the signing of the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon on November 27, 2024, the Zionist regime has violated it thousands of times and, in addition to airstrikes and artillery, has martyred nearly 350 Lebanese citizens.

In response to these Zionist aggressions, the Lebanese government, headed by Nawaf Salam, has only requested the United States to put pressure on the occupiers to adhere to the ceasefire agreement, while at the same time emphasizing the need for the resistance to disarm; a matter that the Zionists and Americans have abused and made the cessation of aggression conditional on the realization of this, while the ceasefire agreement did not mention the disarmament of the resistance at all.
