Tel Aviv fears Egyptian military leap; Chinese stealth fighters upset security equations
The Hebrew-language newspaper Ma’ariv reported that the entry of Chinese fighters into Egypt and the inability of Israeli and American radars to track them has caused deep concern in Tel Aviv and has called into question the alleged air superiority of the Zionist regime in the region.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): A Hebrew-language media outlet has reported increasing concern among Israeli officials regarding the growth of Egypt’s military power.

According to Ma’ariv, the newspaper wrote that several Chinese fighters have entered Egypt in recent months, and this has led to extensive security checks in Tel Aviv, especially regarding the regime’s claim of air superiority in the region.

According to the report, Israeli and American radars have failed to track these fighters; an issue that has raised the alert level in Tel Aviv.

Maariou further writes that the Zionist regime is “terrified” by the process of strengthening Egypt’s military power. In recent years, Egypt has been seeking to purchase fifth-generation fighter jets, and the possibility of military cooperation with countries such as Russia, China, South Korea and Turkey in the field of domestic production or joint construction of equipment is serious.

The report adds that Cairo’s goal is to maintain independent strategic power and avoid relying on a single power. Since 2015, Egypt has purchased defense systems from the United States, Russia and China and has strengthened its naval force by adding new submarines and ships.

The country also recently took delivery of three French Rafale fighter jets to complete its military modernization package.
