Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to Sadi Al-Balad, Sweida province in southern Syria has witnessed new tensions after clashes broke out between elements affiliated with the self-proclaimed Syrian President Golani and armed groups around the village of Mansoura in the west of the province.
Syrian media reported that the head of the Sweida security forces released a video clip showing armed elements affiliated with Hekmat Al-Hijri storming his house. He also threatened to respond to the attack.
Sweida province has witnessed widespread tensions and armed clashes since the overthrow of the Bashar al-Assad regime and the rule of elements affiliated with Golani in Syria.
Not long ago, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced that the intensity of drone attacks and armed clashes in the province of Sweida, located in the south of the country, has increased.
