The US destroys ISIS warehouses in Syria on a massive scale

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The US Central Command in the Middle East (CENTCOM) announced in a statement that it had attacked 15 ISIS terrorist group warehouses in southern Syria.

 

The CENTCOM statement said that between November 24 and 27, US military forces and the Syrian Ministry of Interior identified and destroyed more than 15 ISIS weapons depots in southern Syria.

 

Within the framework of the joint forces of "Operation Resolute Resolve", US military forces cooperated with Syrian forces to identify and destroy ISIS weapons depots in the Damascus countryside; an operation that was carried out with several airstrikes and ground explosions.

 

The US claimed in the statement that in this joint operation, more than 130 mortars and rockets, several assault weapons, machine guns, anti-tank mines and materials necessary for making homemade bombs were destroyed. Troops also found and destroyed significant amounts of smuggled drugs.
