Breshna CEO Meets with Iranian Ambassador in Kabul; Focus on Renewable Energy Development and Joint Cooperation
Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, CEO of Breshna Company, met and discussed with Ali Reza Bekdali, Charge d’Affaires of the Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy in Kabul; the meeting focused on the development of renewable and clean energy sources and expanding bilateral cooperation in this field.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Breshna Company’s press office announced in a press release today (Monday, December 1) that in this meeting, the two sides emphasized the importance of investing in the production of renewable energy equipment and agreed to increase the level of cooperation in this sector.

Dr. Abdul Bari Omar said in this meeting that the level of investment in the development of renewable energy sources has increased more than ever and emphasized the need to produce domestic equipment.

In contrast, Mr. Bekdali, referring to the long-standing civilizational and cultural ties between Afghanistan and Iran, emphasized the expansion of bilateral cooperation and assured of providing visa facilities to Afghan technical engineers in all fields.

Afghanistan is currently facing a severe electricity shortage and meets most of its energy needs through imports from neighboring countries, especially Iran.
