Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Zionist newspaper “The Times of Israel” reported, citing a survey by the International Development Institute, that the most important reasons for wanting to emigrate are: lack of security, employment problems, high living costs, and “uncertainty about a good future for children.”
According to the survey, 42 percent of Zionist Jews and 33 percent of Zionist Arabs assessed the current situation of the Israeli regime as “bad.”
Gilad Kario, head of the Knesset Research and Information Center, announced in an October meeting: “Tens of thousands of people have decided to leave Israel in the past two years. This is not a wave of immigration; “It’s a tsunami of departures.”
Official figures show that the number of applications for revocation of residency in 2024 was more than double the total number of applications from 2015 to 2021.
The survey results also show that those born in the occupied territories are more likely than foreign immigrants to consider leaving Israel. Before the recent ceasefire, the Israeli Institute for National Security Studies reported that 72 percent of Zionists were dissatisfied with the government’s handling of the war, and more than 40 percent believed that the situation in Israel had worsened since October 7.
