Hezbollah: We are not looking for war, but we are ready
Along with the Pope’s visit to Lebanon and Tel Aviv’s repeated threats to expand attacks, Hezbollah announced that it does not intend to go to war, but it is present in the field and will never surrender.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Simultaneously with the visit of Pope Leo XIV, the leader of the world’s Catholics, to Lebanon with a message of peace, and in the shadow of Israel’s continued violations of the ceasefire agreement, Hussein al-Nimr, Hezbollah’s official in the Bekaa region, emphasized that Hezbollah is not looking for war, but if war is imposed on us, it will be present in the field.”

He added: “The battle is not over yet. Hezbollah will never raise the white flag and will not surrender. The pressure on us continues; sometimes by invading the country from land, sea, and air, sometimes with assassinations, sometimes with tracking or wiretapping, and sometimes with politics or money, and again with international envoys who threaten under the guise of warning about what might happen.”

Nimr pointed out that what is being proposed to Hezbollah is that “the resistance hand over its weapons, withdraw from its positions, integrate into politics and abandon the war with Israel.”

However, he considered this proposal “surrender and raising the white flag,” and emphasized: “It is the duty of the government to protect its sovereignty and not to abandon any means to reclaim the usurped lands. In that case, we will stand hand in hand with the government.”

On the other hand, Hani Marzouk, spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, while ignoring the Zionist regime’s aggressions, claimed in an interview with Saudi Arabia on Sunday evening that Hezbollah is leading the regime towards war.

These statements came after Israel sent a warning message to the Lebanese government through the United States, announcing that if Hezbollah does not disarm, it will expand its attacks on Lebanese soil.

According to Israeli sources, the Israeli side also threatened to target positions that it had so far refrained from attacking due to American pressure.
