Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Israeli TV Channel 12 reported that Netanyahu provided explanations regarding security reasons to the judges in an envelope.
Some domestic Israeli media have noted that the prime minister of this regime has repeatedly requested to postpone his trial sessions, citing security reasons or other excuses.
Netanyahu is on trial in three separate cases on charges of corruption, bribery and abuse of public trust.
The charges include accepting expensive gifts such as cigarettes and champagne from wealthy individuals in exchange for government benefits, as well as trying to obtain favorable coverage from the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.
The most serious case against him is the so-called “4000” case, in which Netanyahu is accused of accepting bribes in exchange for positive media coverage on the website “Vala” and granting regulatory privileges to the telecommunications company Bezeq worth hundreds of millions of shekels.
Netanyahu also asked for a pardon yesterday in a formal request to Israeli President Isaac Herzog, a move that has provoked widespread reactions in political and media circles.
