Turkey sends 1,000 tons of humanitarian aid for earthquake victims and returnees in Afghanistan
The Turkish ambassador to Kabul announced in a farewell meeting with the Minister of Economy that his country is sending 1,000 tons of humanitarian aid for earthquake victims and returnees in Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Economy issued a press release saying that Cenk Onal, the Turkish ambassador to Kabul, announced in a farewell meeting with Qari Din Mohammad Hanif, the Minister of Economy, that his country is sending 1,000 tons of humanitarian aid for earthquake victims and returnees in Afghanistan.
 
Referring to the end of his mission in Afghanistan, Mr. Onal said that relations between Kabul and Ankara have expanded and good progress has been made in various sectors.
 
On the other hand, the Minister of Economy called the diplomatic mission of the Turkish ambassador to Kabul useful in strengthening relations between the two countries.
 
It is worth noting that Türkiye had previously sent humanitarian aid to Afghanistan in some emergency cases.
