Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) issued an order, emphasizing the need to increase the level of security alertness and complete readiness against potential threats.
Based on this order, Faleh Al-Fayyadh demanded that utmost vigilance, accuracy, and caution against any attempt to infiltrate, suspicious movements, or terrorist threats against Iraqi soil be on the agenda of all units and ranks of the PMF.
He also emphasized the need for comprehensive support and backing for units stationed on the Iraqi borders to strengthen their operational capabilities to carry out assigned missions and tasks.
This comes while the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces previously announced that the country's National Security Council, in its recent emergency meeting, in cooperation with the international coalition, has decided to hand over to Iraq Iraqi and non-Iraqi terrorists detained in prisons controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
