Pazeshkian in a telephone conversation with the President of the United Arab Emirates: Any aggression against Iran will have a decisive response

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to reports, Masoud Pazeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, discussed and reviewed the latest developments in the region in a telephone conversation this afternoon, Friday.

In this conversation, Pazeshkian, appreciating the support and positions of Islamic countries towards the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasized the importance of continuous and coordinated efforts of regional countries to reduce tensions and help establish peace and stability.

According to Fars, the Iranian President, explaining the Islamic Republic of Iran's principled approach to foreign policy, considered strengthening and expanding relations with neighboring and Islamic countries in all fields to be among the country's strategic priorities, and stated: "Consolidating brotherly ties, strengthening the unity and integrity of the Islamic world, and expanding regional cooperation are among the fundamental pillars of the Islamic Republic of Iran's foreign policy, and the importance of creating convergence, synergy, and national consensus within the country among all groups, factions, ethnicities, and religions is also our approach in domestic policy." According to the report, Pezizian went on to point out the hostile actions of the United States and the Zionist regime against the Iranian nation, including the imposition of pressure and sanctions, the imposition of the 12-day war, and the incitement and support of the recent rioters and disturbances, as well as the adoption of threatening and belligerent positions. Emphasizing that maintaining security and establishing lasting peace and stability in the region are among the fundamental priorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he stated: Iran has not welcomed war in any way and does not consider war to be in the interest of any party, but unfortunately, the Western parties have shown with their actions that, despite their claims, they do not have practical adherence to diplomacy and the principles of international law.

Emphasizing the policy of "honorable diplomacy" of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the President of Iran said: The approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran is based on interaction and dialogue within the framework of international law, mutual respect, and avoidance of threats and force to resolve issues, but at the same time, any aggression against the country and the Iranian nation will be responded to immediately and decisively.

It is said that the UAE President, while expressing his satisfaction with the talks with the doctors, referred to his country's diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions in the region and praised the Islamic Republic of Iran's principled approach in prioritizing diplomacy and dialogue to resolve issues and avoid war. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also emphasized the UAE's readiness for any constructive participation and role in diplomatic processes with the aim of achieving security-building solutions and contributing to peace, stability and sustainable progress in the region.
