Araqchi: If there is an attack, Iran
Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated in an interview that there is currently no serious basis for negotiations, and clearly stated that if there is an attack, Iran's response will be tough and very strong, and added: We have the capacity to defend ourselves and we do not need anyone.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to reports, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, who was on a one-day trip to Istanbul yesterday (Friday), on a pre-arranged trip to meet and talk with Turkish officials, referred to Iran-Turkey relations in an interview with CNN Turk, saying that Iran-Turkey relations are strong and constructive, and the two countries are continuously exchanging views with each other.

The head of the Iranian diplomatic service also noted that there is currently no serious basis for negotiations with the United States.
For fruitful negotiations, the atmosphere of threat and pressure must be eliminated
Iraqchi emphasized: For real and fruitful negotiations, the atmosphere of threat and pressure must first be eliminated, and without an agreement on the framework, content, and rules of negotiations, no progress will be made.
He stated in this interview that the United States often tries to establish contact with Iran through third countries, adding: Iran is ready for fair and balanced diplomacy, but negotiations cannot be carried out in an imposed manner, and without mutual respect and equal conditions, a fair agreement will not be formed.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also clearly stated that if an attack occurs, our response will be tough and very powerful, adding: We have the capacity to defend ourselves and do not need anyone.
He also reminded in this interview that Iran's priority is still diplomacy and we hope that rationality and dialogue will prevail.
Europe is escalating tensions
In this interview, the head of the Iranian diplomatic service stated, following the European Union's move to put the Revolutionary Guard Corps on the list of terrorist groups: The IRGC has played an important role in the fight against ISIS and other terrorist groups, and Europe's position not only does not reduce tensions, but also intensifies them.
Araghchi had previously stated on the X Network in response to this European Union move: Europe is busy fanning the flames of the crisis, and after pursuing the "snapback" mechanism at the request of the United States, it has now committed another major strategic mistake by placing our armed forces on the list of so-called "terrorist organizations."
According to Fars, Araghchi met and held talks with President Erdogan and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan during this one-day visit.
As Araghchi announced upon his arrival in Istanbul, this visit was pre-arranged and was made in response to Hakan Fidan's recent visit to Tehran.
