Trump
Repeating Washington's domineering approach to the resources of independent countries, the US President announced that the United States has not yet made a final decision on Venezuela's share of the country's oil sales.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to TASS, US President Donald Trump said in a conversation with reporters that "Caracas' share of the revenues from the sale of Venezuelan oil has not yet been agreed."

He added: "We are going to sell a large amount of Venezuelan oil; we will take some of it and they will take a large amount."

Before being kidnapped by the US, kidnapped Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro had announced in a letter to members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) that the ultimate goal of the US invasion of Venezuela was to plunder Caracas' oil. Trump's current statements about the fate of Venezuelan oil prove Maduro's prediction well.

In another part of his speech, the US President also claimed that he had stopped sending oil to Cuba. He said that he had asked the President of Mexico not to send oil to Cuba and that he had accepted this.

Trump: We are not looking to create a crisis in Cuba!

In a situation where Washington has increased pressure on the Cuban people, the US President claimed that he is not looking to create a crisis in Havana and that these measures will not lead to a humanitarian crisis, but will force the Cubans to negotiate and reach an agreement with the White House.

In another part, the US President also said in response to reporters' questions about whether he had contacted European leaders about Greenland: "We have started negotiations."

Trump added: "I think this agreement will be a good agreement for everyone, a very important agreement; in fact, from a national security perspective, it is a very, very important agreement. I think we will reach an agreement there."

According to Trump, there is consensus on many issues and Europe also wants to reach an agreement with the United States.

On January 21, the US President announced after talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte that the framework for an agreement on Greenland had been formed.

According to Axios, the draft agreement that Rutte proposed to Trump is based on maintaining Danish sovereignty over Greenland and updating the provisions of the 1951 agreement on the defense of the island.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen rejected the agreement between Trump and Rutte, stating that Rutte did not have the authority to conduct such negotiations on behalf of Denmark.
