Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Gaza Strip Ministry of Health announced today that 6,000 Palestinian patients in the strip need to receive medical services through the Rafah crossing.
The ministry emphasized that the said patients must be treated urgently outside the Gaza Strip and their lives are in danger. In light of the current mechanism for passing through the said crossing, it will take several years for this number of patients to leave the Gaza Strip. At least 500 patients must be transferred outside the crossing daily.
It should be noted that the Zionist regime announced the opening of the Rafah crossing an hour ago.
The Gaza Strip Government Information Office also announced that 22,000 sick and wounded in the strip need to receive medical services outside the Gaza Strip. There is information indicating that more than 80,000 Palestinians wish to return to the Gaza Strip.
