Iraqi Coordination Framework Coalition: We firmly support Nouri al-Maliki's candidacy

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Uday Abdul Hadi, a member of the Iraqi Coordination Framework Coalition, stated that during yesterday's meeting, the coalition clearly emphasized Nouri al-Maliki's candidacy to assume the post of prime minister and form the future government.

Yesterday, the Coordination Framework Coalition also announced: Far from foreign dictates, we once again announce our commitment to Nouri al-Maliki's candidacy for the future prime minister of Iraq.

 

This stance comes after US President Donald Trump recently announced his opposition to Maliki's candidacy for the post of prime minister, adopting an interventionist stance in Iraq's internal affairs! This issue led to a wave of negative reactions in Iraq.
