Afghan Voice Agency (AVNA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Border, Ethnic and Tribal Affairs said in a statement today (Monday, Feb 2) that Alireza Bekdali, the acting head of the Iranian Embassy in Kabul, met with Mullah Noorullah Noori, Minister of Border, Ethnic and Tribal Affairs, to discuss the stabilization of the border between Iran and Afghanistan. They have met and talked.
Mr. Bekdeli said Iran is trying to expand and strengthen its political and trade relations with Afghanistan.
The acting head of the Iranian embassy in Kabul said that Iran is ready to continue its work in the field of stabilizing the common border with Afghanistan and accelerate the process of activities as much as possible.
Meanwhile, Mullah Noorullah Noori, Minister of Border, Ethnic and Tribal Affairs, said that Afghanistan would give full assurance to speed up affairs, solve problems and cooperate fully in this process.
Mullah Noori also said that in the near future, the process of stabilizing the border and updating border signs between Afghanistan and Iran will officially begin.
